On the speaker cables, if I order qty of 1, do I get 1 each cable or 1 pair?

I received the speaker cables and interconnects from CO, and the coaxial cable from NC separately today.  There's no price on either packing slip.  How do I know how much Liberty charged for shipping?  Or whether they charged shipping once or twice for different locations?

You basically just have to look at your CC statement and see how much they charged you...

sorry if this is really dumb.  i am looking for some speaker cables and some interconnects....which ones would you recommend.......

The Z500 are the best, last I checked all of the Z500 audio cables were sold out. The digital audio or coaxial cables would also suffice. Same goes for speaker cables.. Z500. They also may be sold out at this point.

A brief note for anyone who has bought these or is thinking about it. A number of years ago I worked for the company that represented Liberty for International sales. We, along with several domestic reps, kept bugging them to bring out a line of quality interconnects to match their excellent installation grade cabling in other categories. They listened to us and went to the top Asian suppliers - guys who build cables for some of the best known high end cable companies. So if you think these cables are a great value, they are. They just weren't marketed successfully.

I just ordered a set of 13ft. Z500 speaker cables, a pair of 10ft. Z500 I/C's (which I will need to cut in half and re-terminate) and a 1.5M Audio Digital Cable a few minutes ago.  Smaller lengths are OUT.

FWIW - The customer service guy I talked to said these cables are comparable to cables out of the Audioquest line.  He also said the highest (top) prices listed on the products in the bargain bin are actually WHOLESALE prices.

E.g.: Z500 speaker cables (13ft.)
Standard Price: USD $99.20 Each - Wholesale $ price
Your Price: USD $49.60 EA - Discount $ price
Final Closeout: USD $31.41 EA - Bargain Bin $ price

He said the retail would normally be 3X that highest price, so a 13 ft. pair of Z500 speaker cables that cost $31.41 out of the bargain bin are supposedly worth ($99.20 x 3) $297.60 if you bought them "over-the-counter".

Sounds like a great deal to me!  Hopefully they sound decent to use in my second system...???

Bill - I ordered and received the same trio of cables.  They are an unbelievable bargain.  I have other OCC cables which the well known cable companies charge a ton more.

I ordered another set of the 10' interconnects. I'm going to split them too.  Unfortunately they're out of the terminals. I would've ordered them too.
I now have two sets of the speaker cables, 1 digital cable and 2 sets of the 10' interconnects. :D

Hmm I thought they were all sold out of most of the good stuff  but its just not listed in the bargain bin, you have to search for Z500 and then go through the different lengths available to show actual stock.  :thumb:

It's funny but I ordered a pair of IC about three days ago and I didn't check at the time but they never sent me a confirmation message. I just checked. I'm going to give them a call and see what's happening.

PS .. Just checked my credit card acct. and they were charged so I suppose they're on the way.

Click on the link above and insert Z500 into the search to find all of the Z500 items in the Bargain Bin.

Yeah, sound unknown 'till in system.  Not sure I like all the Audioquest but those prices are killin' me.

Anybody want to help get these to a member downunder in Australia ?

i got my Z500s...and they are decently built and for the price, hell, might as well give up making interconnects because they are better than anything I can finish by hand.  They do not have the snazzy looks of other IC manufacturers but for the price, who is complaining?  I need to run them through though.

They come as a pair

I have a helper getting some cables now, thanks.

Sorry to be dim but I'm not used to being able to afford cables.

Can you confirm '1 pair' is for 1 speaker ?
Or is a 'pair' enough for Left speaker and Right speaker.
thanks. (I obviously need the help, hahaha)

Pair means two cables per set, one for L, one for R.

Ordered some 4 meter Z-500 speaker cables as well as some XLR IC's.  Thanks for the links.  :thumb:  We shall see how they stack up to my Morrow SP4 bi-wired cables.

Since they seem to be out of the Z500 THX AUDIO, would the THX COMP VID cables be a good alternative cable between a receiver and an amp?  Or would the THX VIDEO or THX DIG AUDIO be better?

Thanks,
Topp

Well, I've been comparing for nearly two weeks the Liberty IC RCAs and Digital cable with my other much more costly OCC cables since I have two identical DACs and transports.  My conclusion is that both sets of cables sound identical to each other, which is very good.  The Liberty cables are outstanding bargains.   :thumb:

p.s. I haven't tried the Liberty speaker cables yet.  Since they are constructed with both OCC copper and standard copper, and my other speaker cable is pure OCC, there may be a difference in sound.  We will see and hear.

Got my Z-500 speaker cables last week.  Cut the 13 foot lengths in half which gave me four 6 1/2 foot cables in order to bi-wire.  Used the supplied banana terminations(very high quality!!) along with the bare wire and started to listen last night.  I can't do a completed review as I am burning them in while I am a work.  I will state that brand new, these cables are a steal!! :o

Once they are burned in, I will compare them to my Morrow SP-4 bi-wired cables.

Regards,

Randy

ltr317,

Just to verify what your saying.  So you can't tell the difference between the IC and the Digital cables to each other and the OCC cables either?

Thanks,
Topp
