I just ordered a pair of the 13' speaker cables, 2 3M RCA interconnects and 2 of the 3M blue digital cables, all for a little over $100.  Sweet deal indeed!  :thumb: I hope they sound as good as they look.

FYI... I believe these cables were manufactured for Liberty Cable by Neotech / Wang Lung.  They are the world's largest producer of OCC wire.

I found this while looking for a matching set of XLR connectors to use in converting a 3m pair of Z500 balanced interconnects into two 1.5m pairs...
Liberty Cable Z500 XLR:

Neotech XLR:

The best price I found for the Neotech connectors was $20 each!  So these $25 3m Z500 balanced cables have $80 worth of XLR connectors on them.  :D

Instead of purchasing a single pair of 3m Z500 cables, cutting them in half and adding Neotech connectors I purchased two pair of 3m Z500 cables, will desolder and reuse the connectors to make two pair of 1.5m cables.

Good eye!  I suspected they might have the same OEM.

It should be added that they ship very fast.  I ordered 10 cables late at night on the 21st, which means they didn't process the order till the 22nd, and I received my cables today.  Good stuff, dirt cheap, and very fast.  What more could you want?

You must be close to Colorado or wherever they ship from because mine were ordered on the 20th (shipped from Colorado according to UPS tracking) and I still have not received my order (although UPS is supposed to deliver today).

Wow, that's really cheap. I recently bought all OCC cables from Audio Sensibility for reviewer prices and the total was still seven times more expensive.  I have to get some tomorrow.  Thanks Martin for posting this thread.  :thumb:

This is a link to all the Bargain Bin interconnects with + Add to Cart buttons: Z-Series Interconnects.

Use this link for the speaker cables: Z500 Speaker Cables.  Only the 13 & 17 ft (3 & 4 m) are still available.  An order button will appear when you select those sizes.

I just placed my order for the 13 ft speaker cable and 10 ft interconnects.  The shorter lengths are all sold out.  At these prices, I'm surprised anything is left.

I have ordered 2 pairs of 4 meter loudspeaker cables, the Z-500 speakers.  I was wishing for a shorter 2 meter but there was not shorter lengths left.  Hell, I ordered them in order to make 4 pairs of 2 meter speaker wire pairs.  For the price, it is an outrageous bargain.  Moreover, each pair comes with extra spade and thin banana hardware that allows me to cut and make shorter pairs not more expensive.

In the interconnect bin, I have ordered 4 pairs of 1.5 to 1.0 meter video RCA wires....Though I would never use them for the video section, I thought I could take out the single video interconnect and make extra interconnect pairs.  For what I could tell from the pictures of other members, the RCA are so affordable that makes no sense in trying to make them by hand.

Hi Guys

This looks like the sort of thing I need.

Anyone who's got the speaker cables how would you say they 'sound'.  I do realise it's system dependent and subjective of course.

I'm using 'some sort' of solid core I've had eversince....
It sounds OK but I've really not been able to compare to much else besides some cheaper 14AWG OFC 'Premium' cables which was very fuzzy in comparison.

I tried ordering from Liberty but it looks like US only and I'm in Australia so if a previous poster in the US wants to help me get hold of these please PM me.

thanks

Questions for those who have bought these wires: are the terminations soldered or easily removable, should one wish to cut to an exact length?

I unscrewed one of the connectors and the termination is soldered.

I received the speaker cables and interconnects from CO, and the coaxial cable from NC separately today.  There's no price on either packing slip.  How do I know how much Liberty charged for shipping?  Or whether they charged shipping once or twice for different locations?
