HI,

Booting the BDP this morning gave me this:




I have got no idea where this /medi/tory comes from, and how it is possible to show up in the root directory of the BDP1, between the playlist and the USB HDD's/thumbdrive I have attached.

What could this be?

Is your BDP-1 part of a network or is it stand alone.   My setup is stand alone - I take my hard drives to the pc and transfer music files from pc to hard drive then return the hard drives to the BDP-1. What I did notice once was the junk in the recycle bin on the pc was mirrored on the BDP-1 hard drive. So now if I take the BDP-1 hard drive to the pc, I clear the recycle bin before removing the hard drive from the pc, which clears the mirrored recycle bin info, and I return the hard drive free of junk info to the BDP-1.

My Bdp1 is fully networked...I transfer mostly to the attached Hdd's over the network, and when I need a bulk transport  , do like you do, take it to the Macbook and transfer directly. Both to my satisfaction I guess. Updating takes a while lately though.

The main reason however to it being networked for me is the remote control of it. How could you possibly be satisfied with the buttons on the BDP1 for controlling it? I use Mpad most of the time, Mpod too, and Max from behind the MAcbook/Pc.

That's where I found this /media/tory in the root in Max. Can not find it in the Hdd's though.... Has never reappeared after that. that's why: strange things happen....
