Lepai's LP-269FS is an all-in-one mini amplifier that features an FM tuner, on-board MP3 decoder with SD/MMC and USB input, stereo RCA audio in with pass-through stereo RCA audio out, an IR remote control, as well as power output for four speakers. Not to rain on your parade, but without more specific information about which chips are used for power, I'd take the 45W claim with a grain ... no wait, a block ... of salt.
Lepai's "HiFi Stereo Amplifier LP-V3" with a claimed (silkscreened on the case) power output of "RMS 25 watt impedance 4 ohms" and also silkscreened on the case "700W MAX" was bench tested and found to produce, with a 13.2V supply, 1 Khz sine wave @ 1% THD tolerance:

2.0W RMS/ch @ 8 ohms
3.6W RMS/ch @ 4 ohms

you're right!  more power than SET and stable to 2 ohms!   

might be good enough for a computer set up.

Okay, not that I would expect this to sound particularly good, but it may actually be something that would work quite well down at our mini-cabin, since it could run straight off the solar battery.

This is indeed a 4-channel amplifier.

Though I wouldn't call this a scientific bench test, with a full white noise signal in (-0 dB) and using the included power supply, I was able to get about 8 clean volts out of a single channel using a 4-ohm driver. This translates to roughly 16 watts of power output, which was enough power to get the driver close to 100 dB (very loud).

Given that the included power supply is capable of 48 watts maximum (probably closer to 43 watts due to losses), any application requiring more than 10 watts a channel would require a larger power supply. Most users (in my experience) only need about 1 to 2 watts of actual amplifier output in most settings where listening levels rarely exceed 90 dB.

I saw the E-Mail I got about it and it looks interesting for a good cheap office system.  For me, I prefer recycling older receivers from a secondary system after I upgrade for something like an office system.  Years back I got a Sherwood 2x105W receiver for $80 and used it on the main computer system for a bit and now it is on a secondary computer.  Does not see tons of use at this point (mainly where I store iTunes stuff for the iPod for the car and want to listen as I rip music and that is a few times a year) but didn't break the bank either.

Those Lepai's aren't the most attrative thing on the market, but they are reasonable.

And, as you know, sometimes the homeliest girl is the best!

I bought one for my daughter to use in her bedroom a year or two ago. Great move if you have a kid who likes to play loud music, because this won't play very loud! I'd already given her a very nice pair of DIY speakers (a Dennis Murphy design in PE's curved sided cherry cabinets) and this amp just wasn't in the same league - not by a long way. The amp looks better than it sounds, but then it's probably unreasonable to expect anything approching good sound quality from something this cheap. So take it for what it is and don't expect too much.
