We purchased the Cuisinart Multiclad cookware about 8 years ago and it's great. Since that time, they have been redesigned with nicer handles. One thing I learned while searching for quality cookware is to buy the best because you'll likely use it for the rest of your life. I also have a couple of All Clad pans and they are heavier compared to the Cuisinart Multiclad, but I can't tell a difference in performance. However, if I were a serious cook, I'd purchase All Clad or Viking cookware.
This is slightly off topic, but we went through several high quality teflon pans until we realized that an iron skillet is the best way to go for virtual non-stick cooking, as long as you follow the instructions for proper care and cleaning.
