Although I don't own any of their products at the moment I would add Nuforce. Jason provided excellent followup on an amp I'd bought when they were early in development and upgraded the mother boards for free a few years later as he said he would. ( They were having problems with RF interference )

I would also like to add deHavilland.
Kara Chafee goes above and beyond the call for her customers in their demented endeavours.

I know Best Buy is not doing so good lately. But what did BBY make you so upset??
BBY is only not a hi-end audio store. Only cater for average home people.

I'd second Modwright.  Best Buy is Best Buy.  It is convenient for new movies or upgrade and save and sometimes an accessory or a cheap piece for a secondary system.  I don't let them bother me - http://www.black-ogre.com/bestbuysucks/

I deal with only two. One for over 30 years, and every time I called or now a days Email he is the one to pick up or click hello. And not just to tell me how I f--ked up but how F-1 or NASCAR or what ever is on your mind! Never did me or any one I know wrong! That would be Frank Van Alstine of Audio by Van Alstine or AVA  :thumb:
Number two only for a few years now would be Jim Salk of Salk Sound! I know a few people with Salk Speakers as well as myself and Jim takes care of every one like he has
know you for years! A man of his word just like Frank! Can't say much more then that!

PS

There are many many other good people out there, these are who I deal with.

Nothing I'm aware of.  They have their own brand Insignia, but as far as I know products are made by various manufacturers

I've had great experiences with:

SAS Audio - Steve updated a preamp I purchased on the used mkt.
Modwright - Dan fixed a CDP and added some free upgrades
Bamberg Audio - Phil is one if the best guys to deal with!
Van Alstine - Frank is awesome to deal with
Dennis Murphy - he wasn't a mfg at the time but he fixes some xovers for me and I really trust him.

I prefer to work with companies like the ones above.  These guys understand customer service!

Legacy Audio and Manley Labs have both been very good to me over the years. I will continue to give them preference in my purchasing decisions in the years to come.

I am glad to read Kara Chafee is mentioned above, I would like to try deHavilland products, too.

Ms. Chafee reminds me an awful lot of EveAnna Manley in regards to customer service.

Manley for sure and I haven't even bought from them yet.  The best email interaction I have had with a vendor.

Gary Dodd

McAllister Audio.

Brian at VMPS. I have not owned VMPS for a long time but when I was a dealer he was very helpful.

Do not own Salk speakers, but I agree that Jim is a very nice person and worthy of trust.

So then those two remind me of Bobby over at Merlin. Really stands behind his product and goes out of his way to help you.
