Well I'll be darned!!! Since Mr. T took over running the Denver Bronco's offense they are 5 wins and 1 loss.

Never forget when LSU went to FL and Tebow/FL were first and goal. Tebow was only a sophmore. They went QB run and LSU junior Laron Landry (first safety to go in draft following yr) went to tackle Tebow and not surprisingly the younger Tebow dragged his ass right into the endzone. Landry had no shot, Tebow was a beast and he was 19.

In most of those wins Tebow had very little to do with Denver winning. They won in spite of him and his play at qb. He looked good against Minnesota but Minnesota's defense is terrible and left receivers wide-open all over the field. At that,it took a Minnesota turnover to give Denver the win in regulation.

I'm really enjoying the run. Tebow seems fine, he is what he is and has always been what he is. Same game, same system since high school, he's perfected his skill set.
It's everyone else that is becoming annoying regarding Tebow. His fans, the media...it's 80% hype and myth and 20% reality but that's our world today. In the end I think he will be a short lived commodity unless some team decide to build an entirely new NFL-college hybrid offense around him and that's a major investment or unless he truly matures quickly into a more traditional NFL QB to supplement his current style of play. Remember folks with all that running it only takes one good hit (which I'm sure many are really desiring to be the one to deliver it) and it's concussions, broken this or that. I have to imagine defense are going to catch up to Tebow real soon. Denver is in a tough spot moving forward, possibly a no win situation.

Completely disagree. Tebow has had everything to do with those wins. His presence has elevated the play of his teammates on both sides of the ball. These are the same players who were 1-4 with Kyle Orton as QB. The defense was shreeded by 4 of their first 5 opponents and with the exception of the Detroit game, the defense was been much better with Tebow. The difference in the MN game was no Von Miller to help put pressure on Ponder; yet Tebow proved he could win a high scoring game and he did it with his arm to a receiving corps where Eric Decker is your #1 receiver. His teammates know if Denver is within 10 points going into the 4th Q, they are likely to win. With Orton, they didn't think they had a chance to win from the opening kickoff. Tim is a winner and he has won at every level dispite is unconventional style and lack of tradition NFL QB skills.

I am a life-long Bronco fan. I saw my first game in 1960 with my father and have been to 4 Super Bowls, one with Craig Morton and 3 with Elway. My family has been season ticket holders since 1962. I have seen a lot of Bronco games and I am quite excited by how Tebow has turned a season headed for disaster to one where they have a legitimate shot at the playoffs. This was never going to happen nder Kyle Orton.

The coaching staff deserves most of the credit. Fox and company recognized what they had to work with and adjusted accordingly on both sideS of the ball. Tebow is lucky to have paired with Fox who's run first and often, conservative, punt at all costs, ball and time management style lends itself to Tebow's game. Keep it conservative and simple, low volume throws, low turnovers etc... Fox and Tebow might work for a while but I wouldn't bet my money on either let alone both. Enjoy it now Denver fans because sadly it may not last long. Is Tebow this years version of the Wildcat and by next season defenses will have it all snuffed out. I wish the fella success but I fear the ceiling is coming. Thankfully they are in a weak division they can win in on a yearly basis. I'm just glad he's playing and winning, it was getting a bit Kardashian like they for a while...and Tebow is popular for what reason exactly?

What I like about Tim Tebow is unlike every other NFL quarterback who (slides into second)when they run the ball over the line of scrimage,Tim Tebow lowers his shoulder and powers thru you like Walter Payton used to do,no running out of bounds either...thats old school football and I love it...go Tebow......Mark Korda

The reason other QBs slide is simple enough - they are instructed to do so to avoid injury. It is part of their training and falls under the good sense heading. Apparently Fox/Elway are not as concerned about the potential for injury to Tebow.

For those who think Tebow raises the level of play in his team mates I have no argument - but I feel a need to point out that he doesn't cause the other team to miss field goals or drop passes or mismanage the clock. He can't be credited with the injury to Jay Cutler or Adrian Peterson or Jason Campbell, all of which lessened the scoring potential of an opponent.
Tebow is better than predicted but certainly not elite. So far most of his wins have come against inept teams.
If the playoffs started this weekend, it would mean Denver playing at Pittsburgh. In fact that is very likely how the season will end unless the Broncos have to compete for a Wild Card against the Jets, the Bengals and the Titans whereupon their chances decline significantly. Even though they hold the head to head tie breaker over Cincy and NYJ, I'm fearful that they won't get in unless they take the division.
I guess the Patriot game will tell us a lot more about what we have in Timmy.

Broncos were 1-4 before Tebow became the starter, 5-1 since. They have had the fewest turnovers in the league since he took over. His teammates constantly praise his leadership and decision making. I wonder if his detractors have been so jaded by fantasy stats over the years that they forgot that football is a team game about winning, and teams do extremely well around strong leaders.

I understand his popularity overall what I was saying was about all the pub he was getting in the NFL while being on the sideline. Now that he's playing more power to him. At this point I'll put nothing past the team in the short term. Confidence and knowing your game goes along way in sports, they might just beat the Pats just like the rest. Personally I thought the Jets would expose them, Rex should be ashamed of himself, I don't want to hear his mouth for awhile after that loss.

Things do seem to be breaking right for Denver for sure, makes you wonder. But at some point those close wins likely become close losses and the breaks stop. If they were beating teams soundly then I'd buy in but the wins have mostly all come done to some very good fortune and Denver making the plays to close out and give them credit for that. I'm enjoying it even if it all seems like smoke and mirrors much of the time.

However, the Broncs gave up 28 pts./game during the first 5 and only 19.9 during Tebow's triumphal reign.
These facts indicate pretty clearly that the difference is on defense. And let's not forget the shitstorm of tebowmania that Orton had to try to play through.

I don't know what Elway and Fox have in mind for the future but Orton and Brady Quinn were both in the final year of their respective contracts. Only Tebow is under contract next year.
That fact and the fans' screaming for Tebow in this rebuilding year, probably are the reasons why Tebow is playing. The defense is the main reason he's winning.

Is the difference all defense? Aren't the they running more now? Less incomplete passes to stop the clock. More time of possession and less time for the defense to have to be on the field? Just a thought
