I would agree with jimdgoulding vinyl has a way of making classical so dynamic and three dimensional. Since I bought a nice vinyl rig I have really gotten into Opera, it just sounds so realistic, plus something about the emotion relayed by the singers. Wagner on a good vinyl rig is to my tasted quite enthralling and powerful stuff.
