Update on the jupiter cap upgrade to the Super V,
Its been about 100 hours of break-in now so I feel like I have a handle on the sound on the newest version on the Super V crossover. It is the biggest improvement in caps I think I may have ever heard. I'm talking Dueland territory here.

I thought from Danny's discription, that the mids might smooth out and the highs would come down slightly in level. What I'm getting is a HUGE step up in transparency and clairity. I thought originally I would have to further tweek my room to get the imaging I was looking for. With the new cap and coil, the imaging is world class and more improved than I thought possible.
The highs are better balanced than before. Not lower in level to my ears anyway, before I thought I was hearing the limits of a 2" tweeter and I thought I could live with it. Now, I am blown away with the air and detail of the big two inch Titainium tweeter. It is in the same league as the Neo 3 for sure. I am now hearing the seperation of massed strings, brass and voices that previously I had only heard in the LS series and the Ephipany loudspeakers.
To sum up, I couldn't be happier with my rig right now. The Super V is the whole package and I'm finally out of the "loudspeaker of the month" club.
