Is there a Jupiter Application for the LS series?

No.

Those cap values are pretty large in the LS (low crossover point) and would be really expensive. I don't even know if they make them that large.

The Super-V only needs a single cap for the tweeter circuit and it is a small 2.2uF value.

I got my Jupiter caps last night :hyper:  Thanks For the quick service Danny!

I'm also breaking in a new Ayon Spirit III tube integrated and a new PS Audio Perfect wave DAC with Bridge cat 5 linked to a Mach2 Music Mini-mac server. Now I'm really looking forward to a great 4 day Thanksgiving weekend!

I'll post pictures and comments on the sound of the new crossover on the Super V

The Jupiter cap install went well this weekend. I now can't believe Danny is only charging $300. to up-grade his yellow pair. Bit of labor involved in the operation.

The sound is quite NICE Though :thumb:

Better mid to tweeter blend and the imaging is more focused. If you have ever heard the blend B&W gets from their crossovers you'll get the idea. Its smooth and seamless now. I thought it was good before.

Still waiting for the Jupiter to break in but I am liking the highs. A nice step up from the Sonicap I think.

Looks good man. I think I might go ahead and upgrade that Yellow pair of mine. Those speakers just need that upgrade.

Update on the jupiter cap upgrade to the Super V,

Its been about 100 hours of break-in now so I feel like I have a handle on the sound on the newest version on the Super V crossover. It is the biggest improvement in caps I think I may have ever heard. I'm talking Dueland territory here. 8)

I thought from Danny's discription, that the mids might smooth out and the highs would come down slightly in level. What I'm getting is a HUGE step up in transparency and clairity. I thought originally I would have to further tweek my room to get the imaging I was looking for. With the new cap and coil, the imaging is world class and more improved than I thought possible.

The highs are better balanced than before. Not lower in level to my ears anyway, before I thought I was hearing the limits of a 2" tweeter and I thought I could live with it. Now, I am blown away with the air and detail of the big two inch Titainium tweeter. It is in the same league as the Neo 3 for sure. I am now hearing the seperation of massed strings, brass and voices that previously I had only heard in the LS series and the Ephipany loudspeakers.

To sum up, I couldn't be happier with my rig right now. The Super V is the whole package and I'm finally out of the "loudspeaker of the month" club. :thumb:
