my 14BSST2s are dead quiet on trigger off, can you alter the order of switch off?
At least then the amp will be cut off from the SB at shutdown.
If the whole lot is switching off simultaneously might a delay relay on the trigger line be better than a switching box in the speakers leads?
Sigh. It's the only complaint I have with my 14BST.
I took my DAC out of the trigger chain [just leave it on all the time]. Still pops.
Thinking about it now, I should also try taking the Squeezebox digital output out of the trigger chain to see if it has any effect. (I doubt it ... the Squeezebox is configured to leave digital outputs active even when "off". It could wrong. I'll need to try it out.)
Yeah ... if I could "fix" it by changing the trigger order, that would be preferred to sticking more things in the audio path.
If I'm forced to go down that path, my delight with a pop free turn off will more than compensate for any audio degradation that I
might hear (I doubt my ears and listening skills are that good).
