Diana Krall's Girl in the next room has a very dynamic rim shot on the opening on one of the first few songs on the album. The rim shot is more realistic on the 30.2 – in fact it can be startling coming out of relative silence (I'm a drummer, so this was an obvious thing to pick up).
...the cut is Temptation. I’m a little embarrassed... it's not rim shot with a stick, he's using a brush. Still a cool cut to turn up and have the intro come for pure silence.
