Frank, a question about the FetValve input stage

Hi Frank. When a FetValve amp is powered off, does the input appear as an open-circuit to the preamp, or does it measure as some sort of load? If the latter, is it complex or mostly resistive?

Since the input stage is a tube, it doesn't matter if the amp is on or off. The input impedance is set by a resistor, probably around 500K.

Thanks Tom. I wasn't sure if there was anything significant in front of the tube.
