Maybe An Upgraded Version Of The Vicino??
« on: 30 Oct 2011, 02:10 pm »
I own a pair of Vicino's and I believe Rick is using the SB Acoustics 6" SB17NRXC35 mid-woofer and the SB Acoustics SB29RDC tweeter in that design.  With the announcement of the new 6 1/2" SB Acoustics Satori mid-woofer and TW29R Satori tweeter I can't help but wonder how the Vicino would sound with those drivers.  Rick, if you happen to see this post, what are your thoughts?

My apologies for not being more clear.  My question is about an updated design of the Vicino using these SB Acoustics drivers and not trying to use the Satori drivers as a drop-in replacement for the drivers in my Vicino's.

That's certainly possible but I won't know for sure until testing the new drivers. By the way, I noticed another company using the SB drivers but of course they charge quite a bit more than we do.
