Hi
I follow you now.

I had the same gear when I started the measurement in this room at the begining without treatements. It look like this

those rear boxes wasen't there when I did the first measurements.

I did measurements step by step as I added more treatment in the room to see if I was going in the right direction, acoustically.

I started to treat the ceiling first.

then side walls, with Helmholtz resonators

This is the final point where I coulden't treat any more due to space, I had almost filled every corner and wall as possible with treatments.

Pretty much the same as in the first post exept for the speakers and more extra bass.

I have done so many measurements that I haven't save them all in my computer, only taken the measurements on the fly.

Construction aspect is ...

All walls have trippel layer plasterboard with damping glue in between. The floor has trippel layer 1" fiberboard with damping glue between. The room is very robust and stable, bare in mind that this is on the second floor.

The dimension is in Bolt area 10x16x22 ft but this didn't help much as you can see in the first measurements.

To answer your question, Yes, it has been some changes with speakers but the room was allready fixed and finished before I changed my speakers.
I was little bit worried that the room woulden't handle the JBL's in term of the higher SPL and especially in the bass region but it turn out to be better than i anticipated and that the room can handle the high SPL.

I can't remember every moment and it has been almost two years ago :D when it was finished.
But I must say I am glad that it is over, it was lot of thinking and hard work but at the same time learned alot about acoustics.

I hope this gives a little bit insight in what I have been doing.

Thanks

Yes, It looks extremely inviting. Especially, with all of the Mac gear. 8)

The room looks kinda scary good. Like the listening room would be on my idea of the Mother Ship. 8)

Thanks Everybody!

I would like to show you a measurement taken in Sweep Generator and Sequence lenght at 256k and then looking at the Burst Decay measurement. Here one can see the resonaces in a encloused space according to ARTA. This is from the listening position.

The interesting part is from 20-100Hz and one can see that there is no resonances and a even freq response as well. It is pitty that I didn't do this before without any treatments. At that time I was a newbie of the ARTA program.

Thanks
