Have you tried contacting Pioneer directly? Just a thought.

I have an old (10-12 yr. old) Pioneer Elite CD Recorder. I believe the model number is Pioneer Elite PDR-19RW CD Recorder (I am not at home now). It was originally (I believe) $1,200 list (all copper chassis, etc.). It was a factory refurb. unit. I had it in the main system for years and then the secondary basement system. I moved it out of the secondary basement system about a year ago to make room for other components. It has not been used much in the last 6-7 years. I used it to make CD-Rs for the car at one point. There is a picture of it in a shot of my old basement rack (2nd from the bottom)
