Sadly it looks as if work will require my presence here rather than RMAF for part of that weekend. I'm sorry to miss it but I have to pay the mortgage too.

To clear up a few rumors that have been floating around. I WILL still be there this year despite the loss of the shop this past week. Looking forward to a great time and show with the VS team :thumb:

Hey Bill..."floating" around.  Good choice of wording.  I hope things get straightened out for you and look forward to seeing you at the show.

Anyone know anything about restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel?  I'll see if Albert and Damon are up for it.

Just spoke with a fellow VSA circler and he reminded me that his flight doesn't arrive in Denver until 9pm Friday and I am picking him up at the airport.  How about we plan something for Saturday evening?  We may have a better chance of catching more folks that way.

I'll be visiting family on Saturday night so the party will have to go on without me. Look for me at the AC table in the bar after the show on Friday, maybe something can be planned on the fly.

Family wins out over a bunch of unruly audio geeks any day of the week.  I'll be sure and hunt you down in the VSA rooms Wayne.

Hello Fellow VSA owners,
I've got an idea: what if VSA goes to dinner with fellow enthusiasts on Friday and Saturday night?  Damon and I are up for it, since we like meeting you and like to hear feedback about what you guys want to see in the future.

We will be showing speakers in three different rooms.  In the VSA factory room, we will have the VR-33 in a "budget high performance system using Jolida gear" - the VR-5 Anniversary Mk2 in another room with Jolida driven by their top-of-the-line mono block tube amps - and a third room shared with Purity Audio showing their new $28,000 preamp, OTL power amps, and our new VR-44 speaker system, which has a powered subwoofer system like our VR-9.  Sources will be the fabulous UHA open-reel tape deck that Jonathan Valin considers to be the world's best source component, high resolution files with Apple laptop, and the highly controversial CD player called the Eera Tentation.  Please see a future post for our room numbers.

Good morning Purity Audio Design and VSA enthusiast. Purity Audio Design/VSA will be in Room 522 where the following equipment will be debuted.

Purity Audio Design Ultra GT w/ Silver Autoformers
Purity Harmony Vacuum Tube Buffers
Power Power power supply for the M2Tech Young DAC
195 watt OTL mono bloc tube amps
Von Schweikert VR-44 loudspeakers with power subwoofer system built in
UHA open-reel tape deck
Eera Tentation CD player
Apple laptop (feeding M2 Tech Young DAC and then Purity Harmony Buffer)

Also, despite the recent flooding that took out Response Audio and Purity Audio Design's manufacturing facility, I will still be attending the show. Wouldn't miss it. We showed with Von Schweikert last year in the VR-33 room and Albert and crew are exceptional people. We are looking forward to an outstanding showing this year!

Bill,

Are the OTL amps yours or another manufacturer?

Hope you are doing well.
