Very high quality work. Is that vampire binding post? It looks so much better (and expensive) than the Electra tube.

Hi Ruben and all Audio Circle members.
Nice work !
That's why I want to do business with you and that's why Audio 13 want his enclosures to be built by Fallen Enclosures.
Like they say: Keep up the good work.

Thanks a lot guys! :D

hotjt133,

Those are the Cardas binding posts that Danny use to offer as an upgrade option. They're no longer listed in the binding post menus, but he might still carry them. :dunno:

Those are Cardas solid Copper posts. They are really good posts and yes real audio jewelry.

Nothing beats those tube connectors for performance and ease of installation though.

Danny, hope you don't mind posting some negatives towards those tubes. They don't grab the studs and too easy to pull out. Not sure it is a design issue or just a bad batch. I have more rants in my build log a few posts earlier on page 2.

Hey hotjt133,

Not sure which part you're referring to with regards to pulling out (stud or casing), but I'd say that the "grabbiness" issue you're having is a manufacturing defect. I've personally never had an problem with a bad fit. The grab is normally very strong. If the casing is pulling out, the hole needs to be smaller. A little adhesive is also a good idea for added measure.

Danny's turn! :green:

Sounds like you made your hole a bit big. The hole should be such that you have to lightly tap them in with a hammer. Adding a little Silicone to them when installing keeps them from coming out (ever). If the hole is tight it also adds a little adding tension on the studs.

Still most are tight enough to require quite a push or pull to install or remove them.

I have used a ton of them and have yet to find any that didn't really gab on hard.

If you feel you got a defective one then feel free to send it back and I'll send you out some new ones. And if your hole is really that big then you might want to add a little Liquid Nails to the new ones when you install them. That will really hold them.

I typically have to tap it nice with a hammer to get it in, insert rude joke here, and using some silicone lub to keep it in.

I would be too dumb if the issue is caused by too big of the hole. My hole was indeed a tiny bit too big but I glued it tight. It's the stud pulling out. Anyway, since no one else has this problem, it may very well be an isolated case. Unlucky me!
