What the "TRICK"  to putting pix on this site?

If you are using Internet explorer 9 you can forget downloading pics.
It is a LONG STORY but the folks running the place suggest switching browsers as the solution.
I use IE9 and pass on the photos.

Simply upload the pic to your Gallery (pull down at top of page), and then reference the url of the pics address inside an image tag.

I wonder what the difference is?  I use IE9 and regularly post photos in topics, my gallery and PMs, although I most often Insert Image from my computer directly into a reply without first adding it to a gallery.  Does it not work because Compatibility Mode isn't used?  Or some other setting?

I am using both methods successfully with Vista Ultimate ( now there's a contradiction in terms ...) and IE 9.

It's a Bengal kitten, a cross between a domestic feline and an Asian Leopard Cat, but he's not mine.  I would like to have him though.  I would name him Tony.
 
He was so freakin' cute and I saw a chance to post a photo out of context.
