One of the advantages of an auto deck

Select 7" and hit the auto cue and it finds the invisible start of the disc

Possibly Jlappy might know this?

Cheers

The deck was made for this kind disc, they are a good match.

True, True!

Oddly enough, this disc does'nt get played on the main rig, but I got my singles box out tonight and the kids were a little intrigued with this one.

No probs at all spinning on the Dual - A trip back to my teens  :D

Would be nice to have a 10" button too.... I have a few 10" discs, and they are manual only....

Are there Auto's with a 10" button/switch?

Hi David - This baby (a Dual 1219) has 7", 10" & 12"

Have used the 10" setting on both 33 & 45 RPM discs - works a treat  :thumb:

Are you tempted?  :D

Oh! It stacks and plays 78's too  :green:

Have to admit .... not really - the cosmetics are just tooo 60's/early 70's

Me I like late 70's through to 90's....

But I really wish my auto tables had that switch!

I need to digitise some North African popular music recorded in the 40's/50's - and it is ALL on 10" records.... really annoying...

Get one of these: Sony PS-X7

Switchable between semi-automatic and automatic. Selectable record sizes. Tonearm linkage disconnects when the arm is in play. Weighs about 25 pounds, direct drive.
