I got in a bunch of these Eminence made 15" sub-woofers (raw drivers NOT boxes) that were sold through AV123 under the MFW-15 name.

I have been blowing these things out for $79 each. Some had some smashed boxes and cosmetic damage, but worked fine. I sold those for $50 each real quickly. I also tested each damaged one with an impedance sweep before it went out. They were fine.

I have had some returns though on some of the good ones. These all show a perfect impedance sweep but have voice coils that rub to some degree. Some rub slightly, and some only rub when they move inward to a considerable distance. Some of these will work fine for applications where they are not driven hard. Some will be well suited for car audio applications where a little rub in the trunk might not ever be heard.

So I tested all of these and have a break down on what they are doing. I have marked these down really cheap to move them quickly. I hate to throw them all out. So claim them ASAP and they are yours.

Woofer number 1. Plays clean over about 1/3rd of its range then has a slight rub. $25. GONE

The spider is glued to a plastic piece that is then glued to the top plate.

There are a few of those woofers that this little 100 watt amp would never push hard enough for the woofer to ever move far enough for the voice coil to rub.

Woofers number 8 and 9 are gone.

The rest of these are still available and are a great value.

Some of these would be great for and under the desk type sub where they are never played to hard. In those applications they will play as clean as a perfect one.
