Dual Servo Sub Wiring?
« on: 21 Jun 2011, 04:42 am »
I just got the GR SW-12-8 kit with A370PEQ servo amp with the dual harness. I build two separate sealed boxes. When I connect 1 sub it sound excelent, but when I connect the second one there is no sound below 30Hz and the sound seems muffled.
I'm guessing that the wiring is wrong. I found a diagram but for the OB version. Is there a diagram for the design I'm using or is the same one?

The driver coils need to be wired in parallel and the sensing coils have to be wired in series.

even with the dual adapter included? I thought that with this adapter I just conect one set of cables to one speaker and the other set to the other speaker.

If you got the wiring harness for dual woofers then you just plug in all the +'s and -'s and all of the parallel and series wiring is handled in that small circuit board that all of the wiring plugs into.

Just check to see if you have all of your polarities correct.
