A fellow ACer asked me to help him find an appropriate analog to digital converter so he can eventually get his TT into his digital preamp. Of course, he needs a quality phono preamp (like a nice Insight+, from AVA) which would n turn feed the ADC and then off to his digital input only preamp.

Art USB Phono Plus V2 Phono Preamp w/ USB Connectivity (and TOSLINK)

About $70 on the web. Decent quality and does line level and phono - until he gets that AVA phono pre!

I don't think any computer is involved so I'm not sure of that unit's capabilities without a USB interface......

Well, I'm not totally sure, but I am suspicious. Maybe someone is using it here.
