WOW, awesome setup WBimmer  :thumb:

I'm very envious of your 28B's, what are the stands they are sitting on?

Your speakers don't look to shabby either :)

I can't help but gasp at the sheer beauty of WBimmer's system. Especially the ProAcs. It think that is Ebony, the most expensive option in ProAcs choice of veneers. Maybe it comes standard on the Carbon 8's ?

Thanks for the kind words.

The speakers are finsihed in a high gloss Ebony and they look stunning in the daylight.  Unfortunately the Ebony is an extra cost and not included as standard.

The 28B's are sitting on Sanus stands.  They are from their Euro series of stands and they fit the bill nicely.  http://www.sanus.com/ca/en/products/av-foundations/av-euro/EFAB-II

OK, I'll show off my ProAc Response 3.8's with Bryston SP2 processor feeding Bryston amps using Bryston interconnects and Bryston speaker cables.
CD player is an Arcam Alpha 9, but I admit to mostly listening to digital FLAC from my laptop feeding an external Tascam US-144MKII soundcard.
The soundcard also has a Midi out so I can set up my parametric equalizer filters for my Servo-15 subwoofer. One of these days I'll probably get a Bryston BDP for the digital music.

Another ProAc system. A small one this time.

ProAc Response 1SC, Bryston 2B SST and BP25, CD Cambridge 840C, Rega P3-24 and Bis Audio cables all around.

Pretty cool, Bruce. I never really liked Pro Ac, but I haven't heard them driven by Bryston so it might in fact be a good combo!

Bruce,
I see you are using Bryston speaker wire and interconnects.  Happy with their performance?  Have you done any comparison in your own system?

Yeah, I am happy with the bryston speaker wire and interconnects.  I'm afraid I'm not a big believer in cable differences. I look for high quality cable and connectors for a reasonable price. Bryston offers that, so I use their stuff.

Do you have the SC4 cable or the older cable with the clear insulation?

I use the older 9 gauge speaker cable with the clear insulation terminated with their banana connectors, and their balanced interconnects.
