Fremer hears demagnetized vinyl records sounding better than non demagnetized.  he is terrific at making stuff up, that is impossible on planet EARTH.  He never wants to do a blind listening test, we Ethan and I have challenged him, he only wants to make stuff up, collect a check for his fiction stories.  Or maybe he's not human, and has ears beyond earthlings.

There is the electron gun for zapping the records and getting rid of static, is that what demagnetizing is getting at?

I should have written "bulk tape eraser" to be more clear. I have heard this idea before. Never tried it though.

No, static has nothing to do with the demagnetized world of Fremer, he claims he hears, and everyone he has listen to his demagnetized PLASTIC.  the mfg of said scam device and Fremer say the black carbon in vinyl is magnetized and causes poor sound.  So you buy a scam device from this mfg and demagnetize a RECORD, and it will of course sound better, they always sound better, everything done is a better sound on planet Fremer.  Static reduction and removal is actually a legit process,  with audible results mere mortals hear, demagnetizing vinyl is only for the trained listeners of Fremer World of clown acts.  And the product is over $2,000!!!!! How dumb are people?  What won't an audiophile believe? :duh: :duh: :duh: :duh: :duh:
