After 25+ years of listening to SET amps, primarily 2A3, for the last year I've been giving a listen to solid state amps - Monarchy SM70 MkIIs, the TAD Hibachis, Primare, etc. While I enjoyed the sound of these amps, I've come to realize that I'm addicted to directly heated triodes. I purchased this pair of Hibachi IIs directly from Paul at Tube Audio Design on April 8, 2011. They have about 40 hours of play time on them and are in superb cosmetic condition. I have the factory shipping boxes, packing materials and power cords. At my asking price of $525 I'll absorb the cost of FedEx ground service shipping/insurance within CONUS and the PayPal fee.
