Why no Hi-fi Shows in LA?

Am I wrong?  I haven't seen a major high end audio show in Los Angeles for years.  The last one was near LAX about 5 years ago. Why is this?

on april 18th there's gonna be somethin going on by the beach.   i'm gonna try to go.  German designer Albert Von Schweikert will be there with his latest speaker.   it's in the so cal rage forum.
