Nice speakers Matt.

I own a pair of Songtowers too.  My previous speakers were Boston Acoustic T-830s rated at 90 or 91 dB at 8 ohms but I also found the Songtowers to be as loud or louder at the same setting.

In addition, I have a pair of Rythmik F15HP subs.  I go back and forth as to whether I like music better with or without the subs.  But the subs definitely add to the movie experience.

By the way, I use Norton Antivirus and have had no problems with your website.

I forgot to mention that I have been very impressed with the SongTower's imaging, or ability to fill the room.

The Bostons always sounded like music coming from speakers in front of a wall, and I tended to use one of the sound field processing modes of my Yamaha receiver when listening to music.

Not with the Songtowers though!  They sound like I'm right in the concert hall with the musicians (although I'm sure it's still nothing like the HT2-TLs or HT-3s or Soundscapes).

I've never been able to figure out the sensitivity specs that get thown around in the speaker biz.  The sensitivity of each woofer used in the SongTower is around 87 dB.  Running then in parallel will produce a maximum of 93 dB without a crossover.  With 5 dB of baffle step compensation, we're down to the rated 88 dB sensitivity.  That may be a trifle conservative, but it's very close.  A speaker honestly rated at 88 dB sensitivity is a fairly high sensitivity machine.  In my experience, it will probably sound louder at a given power input than most speakers rated at 90 dB or above.

FYI: Norton finished reviewing my website, and it checks out OK now.
