Dyna SCA 35 Tone Control Bypass
« on: 15 Jun 2011, 01:19 am »
Hi all...new guy here. I picked up a SCA 35 from a pawn shop for $20.00. It was missing the stems from the tone controls and had shot caps. I replaced all the boards with new boards from Audio Regenesis. I love the way this amp sounds with my CV CLS215s. I decided to try the tone control bypass mod and I obviously messed up somewhere. I know I'm going to sound like a newb here...but ...does anyone have a diagram of the pinouts on the lugs of the pots and switches for the SCA 35? I got the step by step instructions but can't figure out how the lugs are numbered to save my life. Also, if anyone has a line on any pots or switches for this unit that would be great. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks to Kevin at Dynakit I have what I need to solve my problem! Kevin was kind enough to send me a digram done by BobLatino that I found EXTREMELY helpful. I Have included a link to a webpage that contains both the instructions and the diagram pictures sent to me by Kevin below in the hopes that it may help anyone else who has the same problem I had. Again, I can't thank kevin at Dynakit, Bob Latino and Goerge at Audio Regenesis enough for their correspondence and help with this project.
