Selling my entire system to pay for medical bills.

I have for sale a pair of Micros in the very desirable (and much more expensive) stainless steel finish. These are *not* the cheaper painted silver.

They're rated 7.5/10. A couple small swirl marks but that's it. No box, no manual. I do have the original 'O rings' to set upon a table with.

MSRP $480 for the pair. I will sell for $200. Local pickup in Chicago is always welcome. Please see all of my other components for sale.

i looked around the web and there seemed to be more than one spherical gallo model with the word 'micro' attached to them.
can you give me the full gallo name of this model ?
live in new york city. how much for shipping ? or could that be included in price ? or split ?

Hello,

There are two models of Micro; the Micro and Micro Ti. I've heard both and they sound virtually identical, with the Micro Ti being a bit too bright for my ears and my room acoustics.

There are several finishes of both the Micro and Micro Ti, this finish is the stainless steel finish.

Shipping + PayPal fees should be about $15, which I'm happy to split with you.

i took a look at the gallo website and saw the following spec for the on-wall frequency response -micro tis - 100Hz to 22Kh
micro - 80hz to 18khz

sounds like you have heard both these models.
do you agree that the micro does reach lower than the Tis ?

also what speaker cable terminations do i need for use with this speaker ?

how old are the speakers ?

i was thinking of mounting them on a wall - do you have any mounts available that might work ?

I have owned both, and do prefer the sound of the Micros to the Micro Ti. I think I'm particularly sensitive to harsh treble and I find the Ti to be a tipped up in balance.

The Micro does have a bit more bass than the Ti, but I think in practice the difference is pretty subtle. Oddly enough the Micros also weigh a bit more than the Ti.

I don't have any wall mounts but you should be able to grab them on eBay.
