Disappointed that few of the more expensive models add efficiency or go much deeper, but they add drivers (complexity) and size.

And their designs don't quite follow what I hold as being good, solid design.  But I do really like the Nola Boxer, Von Schweikert UniField Three, and YG Acoustics Carmel.

Ya, sort of what you would expect from a corporate effort or lack there of - yawn.

But I do really like the Nola Boxer, Von Schweikert UniField Three, and YG Acoustics Carmel.

And I would add the Wilson Audio Sasha, Vandersteen 7, and MBL speakers. I have heard them all and they are beyond reproach, if I only had the room and the money...

Yea, Nola makes great speakers. Maybe in 2012 TAS will include Fritz Speakers Carbon 7's, AudioKinesis, Daedalus, Salk, and VMPS. But that is why we are here, the internet is the great equalizer.

I liked to see that, too.  I know Duke drove to LA to hand carry his product to REG of TAS.  I was able to mail mine being small and very light, as in totally, by comparison.  I don't guess any publication is going to come and get something.

I heard the Joseph Audio Pulsar's at AXPONA a few weeks ago. They sounded fantastic.
