Being rather anal about the condition of my audio gear I bought this spare black BCD-1 Remote control shell ( the whole original solid aluminum block with buttons and back panel BUT with no inner electronic) directly from Bryston in april 2009 for $230 ( including shipping) receipt included as a spare in case I scratched the original remote. I't remained unused in its i original bubble wrap ever since!.
As I no longer have the Bryston cd player anymore ( bought a Wadia!) I now have this to sell.
This would be useful for an early owner of a BCD-1 with remote , before they changed the remote to the later universal BR2 ($375). Who wants a spare outer case. One would just need to take the innards out and insert into new case. Something that Bryston said one could do yourself or have them do.
