Am I blind? Integrated?

Hey all,

I was looking for the thread on the integrated to see if there's any news, and all traces are gone.  Is that project scuttled?

I guess you may want to check out the Memorial Day sales for glasses.  :)

Good news and bad.  Funny enough, I am just getting to that point where near field vision is starting to get blurry.  Maybe that happens around 46...

Thanks Ted

Hi guys, the integrated project is proceeding.  I have hesitated to say much more about it until I was closer to completion.  Obviously it has taken longer than expected.

I will say this:

It will be 175W+ per channel.
It will be pure SS, not a hybrid.
It will have dual digital displays.
It will be the same size and styling as the KWA 100SE and LS 100.

Part of the delay has been because the scope of the design has changed several times.  I now have the scope finalized, features determined, design topology complete and we are moving towards completion of design and testing.

Thanks,

Dan

Will the higher power/ higher end version necessarily go to 2x price?  Not concerned about SS vs. hybrid, but more power, less noise, all the higher end sound trappings...

Hi Dan.  Will the integrated have a set of outputs for a subwoofer? Thanks.

The higher-end unit will not be 2x the price, but it will be a higher-end design and thus higher cost.

This unit will put out nearly 200W into 8 ohms and is designed around a 1.5KVA power transformer!

It will be a huge hit, because of its power, flexibility and integration.

It will have preamp outputs that could be used for a powered subwoofer input.

Thanks,

Dan
