Finally got around to getting an iPad2.  I am looking to run my dedicated mach 2 music (2010) mac mini tucked away and headless by way of the iPad.

Searching here, I found a number of suggestions, but they go back a year or two.  Looking for recommendations on what is the current best-est thing going now (as of Q1-2011).  On the Apple app store, the realVNC app for $10 seemed to have the most stars.  I do have another mac mini I use as a HT hub (with a bluetooth keyboard and track pad) and do not want them in conflict confusion (ie competing bluetooth confusion), if that is any issue.

Thanks

I use iSSH on both my iphone and ipad to access the remote desktop or just shell into it.   I've tried realVNC in the past but didn't like it.. I don't even remember why....

I use iTeleport. No issues or complaints.

I've been very pleased with Remote Tap 4. There are a vast number of VNC programs, and I haven't tried them all.  Between this and Apple's Remote.app, I can do almost everything I need to do.

The nice thing about Remote Tap is the augmented interface that makes it very Mac/iPod friendly.  It is made for the iPod/iPhone, but I use it on the iPad, and it scales without loss of resolution.

Hey Kenreau  I'll be in the same boat very soon...  just ordered an iPad2 today, so I will be looking to use it as a controller for SqueezeBox-Server on my iMac that still feeds my Transporter.  I hope some more people weigh in with their suggestions.
Cheers
