Electro-Voice vs JBL

I am in the market for some 15 in woofers. I have had the older EV stuff but never owned any JBL but I here how great they are I am tempted to give them a try. Don't want any vintage. Only new stuff. Going to use them in the EV Regency cab. Let me know what you think.

Doug they were on sale for 99 dollars. So I read the reviews and they are nothing but good so I ordered two of them to give them a try. I noticed that they went off sale today and they are 124 dollars. It's better than not being satisfied with the JBL and wasting 666.00 or wasting 200.00 on the MCM. So thanks for letting me know. Let you know how they work out. Thanks

interested in your feedback - if good, they sound like a deal, even at $125...

Got the MCM 15 woofers and installed them in my EV Regency cabs and they really sound good. Has great deep bass. For the price you can't go wrong. Thanks for the info on these speakers. You saved me over 400 bucks.

How are the Electro-Voice pro amps? Would they sound good in a home system?
