Just watched this flick and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I've read a lot of reviews of this movie bashing it for how unrealistic the military parts were or how stupid the design/concept of the aliens were, but to me, it's a movie....not a documentary.
I give it a solid 4 stars.

No overly stupid people...I really hate stupid people in movies
Dislikes:
Wish there was more alien development
Could have used more air combat (I love jet fighter stuff)
Less michelle rodriguez...same tough chick role that she always plays
