I agree! :D

I've worked with Suede in the past and I really like the look.

Ruben

(This was a quick test enclosure and not a finished product. The top and bottom are finished with flat latex and a roller.)

WOW!  Now that is a nice looking X-LS Encore if it is what I think the drivers are from the kit Danny is selling.

Here are some bad pictures of the speakers these baffles will go on...

This speaker will get another 3-5 coats of Poly and has some more wetsanding required.  I know there are mistakes, but it is my first time so let me enjoy them :)

Without the last shot for perspective, I thought for a second I was looking at a massive stacked birch subwoofer box. :D

That looks great and the lighting in the picture really sets it off!  The figure in the grain on the top panel is awesome.

I can see a black baffle working well, but. . . doing a gloss veneer (or solid board!) of the same burl as the top. . .

Here is Ruben's gloss black baffle for the N2X on the PE Cherry finished cabinet.

They turned out nice!

GR Research, Skiing Ninja and Fallen Enclosures all wrapped up in one. :thumb:

Enjoy!

I ordered a couple of different black swatches last week. Should be here withing the next couple of days. I'll send them off as soon as they arrive.

Now that I've actually seen the enclosures I think I'm going to have to send you a couple of of other color options to look at as well.

Best,

Ruben
