Hello all,

Looking for a cheap/starter phono stage.  Prefer MM/MC but will entertain MM only stages

Pick up a Pro-Ject Phono Box II. I use one with my Pro-Ject RPM 1.3.

I had one of those running into a B&K preamp, and it was a jaw-dropper.  My wife, who had been pressuring my to dump the LPs, was stunned at the difference compared to CDs.  Now she tells people that vinyl is better.
