Heard Lucinda williams new album "Blessed" on my local NPR station (WFUV) last night (the album's not due to be released until 3/1 and though it was pretty good.  Too bad I didn't have my cassette deck hooked up  I could have recorded it.    Would love to see her live some time, heard she puts on a great show

I am also on the Amazon pre-order list.

Been listening to Marshall Chapman's older stuff, even ordered two of the books she co-authored concerning her alt-country Nashville life, and her husky vocals reminded me of Lucinda.
