100 dollars? I made it up, but it is based on a few things.
1. There are no charges for advertising, no fees, etc. for the seller
2. It's not the top of the line model.
3. There are no available parts for it, so it's not like getting A VPI Jr. or any SOTA or a Linn where you have easy access to supplies. If it's broken, it's useless.
4. I like a good deal! Heck, Wayner sent my daughter a direct drive for 40 something bucks a couple of years back!
5. Not have a cartridge is going to add a significant amount to the final working price.
But, if you gotta have it, go for it. About three years ago I way overpaid 225 for a lower level Denon DD, but it did have a cart.
