For sale is my Blue Circle DAR hybrid integrated. This amp is still a current model according to the Blue Circle website and goes for $2995. This was bought as a demo from Sonic Spirits and is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition.Has the classic blue circle stainless front, lighted logo, and blue case. It contains a single 6SN7 in the input stage, producing 100 watts into 8 ohms and 150 watts into 4 ohms. It uses a pancake toroidal transformer providing high current, high power, and high speed without the noise of the typical transformer design. Its dual power supply allows the tube and output stages to function independently for better imaging and soundstage creation. This amp is quiet, musical, and runs very cool. As a plus it is very energy efficient per Blue Circle. It has 3 line level inputs, 1 tape or processor loop, a ground lift switch, and an earth ground post. It can also, optionally, be fitted at the factory with a Shallco attenuator, an active gain stage, and a remote volume control. I never felt the need to upgrade it, but the option exists if you so desire. Includes the original box, packing , and manual. NO paypal fees.
