Syms in new room
« on: 12 Feb 2011, 05:57 pm »
I recently finished a new dedicated 2 ch room......it was a long time comming.
Still have all the treatments and window coverings to do. Also have to build some kind of decent equipment stand, and bases for the arrays.....but that will have to wait till I have time from work......prob this spring.

I have my Symmetricas set up......they have been brought closer together since this shot.....along with
a couple of subs that Rick designed for me. This sounds absolutely fantastic. In the previous room
I had them in they could not breath......here they shine. The soundstage is really amazing, it is something
you have to experience......

The center under the equipment is aSelah Sardonyx center that I built.....it is not hooked up.....just sitting there for now.
I have also included a pic of the 128s that Rick designed......these also sound really nice in the room,
they dont image as well as the Syms, but for the price point are again one heck of a bargain....I use them as L&R fronts on my HT system.
Hope you guys get an opportunity to hear the Syms one day.....they are just really a cool array.

I love Rick's Array's but those Symmetricas take Array's to another level all together. And I fully agree with ya, I hope I do have an opportunity to hear them one of these days. Thanks for the nice pictures.  :thumb:
