So you buy a limited-lens camera to keep you from spending a lot on lenses, and then you figure out there's a gold mine of other glass out there?

I doubt they'd keep auto-exposure capabilities.

Hey!

There are adapters available for the NEX to use Sony's DSLR lenses, Leica, Canon, Nikon, and more!

So, actually the NEX have more lens option than Sony's own DLSR line

Man! Think of the quality you'll get with Leica's M lenses on the NEX :D

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Friend of mine just bought an adapter for his NE-5 to use his lens arsenal.  Don't forget, for some lenses, the adapter will make your lens manual-focusing.  It'll be more work!

Manual focusing is one thing but stopped down metering is another whole PITA. If you don't know what that is, trust me, you don't wanna know.  :thumb:

I tried all that with my Canon and decided quickly these tired old eyes couldn't handle it. I like to be in charge of what the camera is doing but some things are better handled by modern technology.
