hello all,
     just thought it might be interesting, inspirational, and convenient to- if at all possible- put any available pix of everyone's completed AKSA projects into one post so we can all see what everyone's finished product looks like, maybe with a little description.  (and of course bragging rights to the nicer/nicest ones   )

i agree with the concept, but it should be easier than you are saying JP, as there is a gallery available here within audio circle to every user, mine is linked in my signature and there is nothing stopping all of us having one each and creating a list, or submitting all of our pictures to a common source for "AKSA project galleries"...

Hugh, perhaps you would like to setup such a common source gallery?
you can tier other galleries within the main one, so having a sample of each product type, then a sub gallery under each product would work easily. Let me know if you would like any pointers

I've looked at this, and it's a great idea, but it takes time and attention to detail.  First, photos need to be cropped to a standard size, and reduced to something around 80K maximum.  This takes skill and some time, using something like Paint Shop or PhotoShop.  Then it has to be placed into an indexed, structured gallery, and this gallery could be expensive to upkeep because the data downloads really add up over a month.

Any volunteers?  Please step forward, but be sure to have a website other than the aksaonline site where they can be stored!!  
   
I have a gallery on the aksaonline website, of course, and it works fine, but the photos are necessarily small to keep data transfer to the minimum.     If anyone is keen to have their system in the aksaonline gallery, email me privately with pics of your choice, and I will put them up.  I have an editing/uploading system going now which is relatively fast, but as I say, you may be concerned that the small pictures are a little too small.......

maybe ask JohnR if you can host it here on audio circle?

the gallery system built into the forum software would probably do the job and it automatically does the photo resize and creates thumbnails etc...

you can find perhaps 20 examples of AKSA products within the gallery system anyway
