Sorry for Your Loss.
Natalie Merchant - Beloved Wife

You were the love
for certain of my life
you were simply my beloved wife
I don't know for certain
how I'll live my life
now alone without my beloved wife
my beloved wife

I would recommend no music at all. Unless you want to her hate the music you give her now. Time heals all wounds but every time she hears the tunes you gave her she will transport  back and it will turn her off that music. It ends up being a constant un-undending mourn.

Sorry for the loss.

Ain't necessarily so.  For some people, music does wonders.

I used music to get through a devastating period of my life some 40 years ago.  It was a comfort to me then, and while I associate certain tunes with that time, I tend to be grateful that the music was there for me.  Not hating it at all.

YMMV
