Primarily thinking Icon / Icon2 / Icon Amp here, though I guess the same question would apply to the IA7 I suppose.
Is there a way to bypass the volume control on these devices, use them as plain power amps? If not, would turning them up to full volume be an acceptable "2nd-best" approach to the same end?
I'm one of those guys who can't have too many integrated amps, but I'm also thinking of the possibility of some Icon Amps doing multi-channel duty (where of course the preamp is setting the volume).
The Trends TA-10 series integrateds have jumper inside that can be set to bypass the volume control. That wouldn't be a bad feature to copy in the Icons if there's not already something like it (hint, hint).
