Mojo Audio Power Cords
« on: 23 Dec 2010, 04:36 am »
Hi. Benjamin from Mojo Audio here. This is my first time posting on Audio Circle. Several of my customers suggested I post. I have several new products as well as upgrades to my existing product line coming out in 2011. That also means that I have great deals on my discontinued inventory. The upgrade to my existing Cross-Helix power cords (made from vintage Western Electric wire) is a new cryo treated pure copper plug set with clear Teflon dielectric. I am also discontinuing the 10AWG version of the Cross-Helix and only selling the 8AWG version in the future. Simply put, the wire I use is quite rare and expensive and the current price of re-stocking my inventory of 10AWG would require my raising the price so close to the price of the 8AWG it was not worth selling both versions. The good news is that I have some inventory left that I'm offering at a GREAT price. Check out my website (Mojo-Audio.com) or eBay or Audiogon ads for the current price (I'm running some holiday specials). Oh, the 8AWG version sounds better and the new cryo treated plugs sound better but these 10AWG cords are the same ones that beat the "whose who" of big name cords that sold for over 10X the price...half the raving customer reviews on my website are for these EXACT same power cords as is most of the positive feedback on eBay. They are a real giant killer. I have a 30-day no-risk audition with full refund (all you loose is shipping) as well as a 90-day full value upgrade option. I often get trade ins for upgrade but I can count on one hand with fingers left over the number of returns for refund I get in a year. Seriously. At list price my products are exceptional values but I often have demos, trade-ins, and prototypes for those of you that are real bargain hunters. My website is in the process of being upgraded with all the new products for 2011. Among the new additions will be two new high end power cords (XPC-5 ribbon and a braided Litz) as well as power distribution centers, isolation transformers, and other power related products like pure copper IECs and receptacles. Please be patient...part of why my website isn't updated is because I want to sell off my existing inventory before offering my new products (can you blame me?). Drop me a note...give me a call. I welcome the opportunity to meet new customers and potential audio friends through this Audio Circle post.

Prices and photos are on my website at Mojo-Audio.com and in my eBay listings.

The best place to order with an automated system that calculates shipping for both domestic and international would be going to my eBay listings.

Hopefully, once my website is updated the beginning of the year, I will have all the kinks worked out from the automated shipping calculator (either that or dump Go Daddy as my host).

Currently I am running an "end of year" special on eBay. Since like most businesses I have to pay profits tax on my inventory after the 1st of the year I would just as soon give my customers the discount rather than pay taxes (now you know why everyone runs such great sales between Xmas and New Years).

The eBay links are:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320632296906&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Since this is a combination of "end of year" and "discontinued inventory" pricing, you will never see such low prices on new product. On 1/1/11 the prices go up to the higher prices on my website until the remaining discontinued inventory is sold.

Throughout the year I often run deals when I get too many "traded in for upgrade" and "prototype" items but that is unpredictable and usually I have a waiting list of existing customers that want those so they don't often get advertised.

Thank you for your interest.
