'Back in the day' I owned a very slick little record-cleaning tool that, I think, was manufactured by Audio Technica. It was silver metal top & sides, with a very gently curved / arced surface protruding from the base.
The black bottom was a lined felt of sorts and at an arc and texture that was absolutely impeccable for record cleaning...
Fast forward 20 years and I cannot locate a replacement unit anywhere locally or on the Internet for love or money. As these devices were very common two decades ago, I am hoping that some of you old-schoolers out there are familiar with the device that I am referring to and perhaps can give me a lead to a record shop in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver etc. where you may have seen one recently, and that I could contact to purchase one. Audio Technica has been useless at answering my email inquiries…
Also, have any of you any experience with a sticky rubber roller called a 'Nagaoka Rolling 152', and might you know where one can be had in Canada? They are on eBay all the time, in the States in US dollars, but by the time one pays in US dollars, pays shipping, tarrifs, ya, you know the story...
