Im thinking of getting the T1 and would like to know how it compares to my Harmon Kardon.

That's kind of apples and oranges. Since the T1 is a dedicated amp, and a pretty minimalist one at that, it's a fair bet it will sound much much better than the HK which appears to be just a basic 2-channel receiver. The TK2050 chip is no slouch. But then you don't have all the added functionality that makes a receiver.

i only bought the hk because it matched my imac lol, im probably going to get the dodd buffer too.
