Is anyone using subs with their omega 5in driver and if so what have you found best to integrate the crossover. My 10in self powered Outlaw has the traditional crossover settings an can be set up to 90HZ. Is lower better than higher this has a 250W Bash amp in it.

Hi; I have used my Super 5's with my homegrown T-Line subs with 10" Focal Kevlar drivers. I found that in my room a X-over @ 80Hz was the best, and my Marchand 24Db/octave unit is easily adjusted with resistor blocks. Very clean and quick transfer from subs to 5's, allowing the 5's to operate without severe bass demands, freeing up the lower mids. The whole system goes down to 24Db at the -3Db point in my medium LR.

Cheers, Hank

Right now I have the Outlaw set at 50hz and it seems to integrate well. I also have the volume at about 1o so not to overload and it is under my desk. It helps the bass is more defined. 80hz is very smooth bass also kind of weirs playing with it but since  i stuck it under the desk it is really a pain now to make more adjustments but will keep tinkering

My Omega Hemp Bipoles are being supplemented by one ACI Titan (12")  with a high pass inline bypass @80hz. I set the low pass  filters on the sub @~85hz. I'd like to add a couple of open baffle Rythmic servo subs to help balance the output throughout the room. When I get the OB subs I might change the high pass to 100hz, low pass on OBs to ~100hz and low pass on the Titan to 40hz.
