Ian,

Any findings on the Psvane against the TJ Full music?

Rachel @ Grant Fidelity

We haven't got a chance to do extensive comparison yet (being the seller for both brands, we have to make sure not to step on anyone's toes :). However, overall Shuguang tubes appear to have slightly better bottom end than the TJ's and less analytical.

Look forward to hearing from buyers on how they compare to NOS tubes too.

All tube models are now in stock - special introductory offer still in place as we speak.

Best,
Rachel @ Grant Fidelity

There are some good reviews already. You can visit our website (http://grantfidelity.com/site/catalog/98/pavane_psvane_reference_tseries) under each tube model there is a comment section - you can read past customer's feedback there.

Also Positive Feedback Online did a review on the 12AX7-T: http://www.positive-feedback.com/Issue51/shuguang.htm

More will come.
Best,
Rachel

how are the Shuguang Psvane series sound (compared to the good old NOS)?

Ok, its only been 3 months since I posted I would be doing a review of these so I guess I am a little late :duh:

So, in a nutshell...these are really very very nice!  Soundstage depth and width seem better, a little more dynamics and slam but still holding onto the nice smooth top end.  No harshness here folks :)

In fact, the tubes were and are a burden sometimes as i have them in my C-J preamp in my computer room system and have it going when I am perusing job lists and making calls and trying to find a job after 2 years of being unemployed.  The problem?  I keep paying too much attention to the music as the be-all and not merely as background noise.  While this is nice its not helping me find a job at all!!

All in all a great tube and in fact I now have AX7's and AT7's in my C-J.  Testament enough I would think.  As usual these results are in my system with my gear with my ears :green:

Man I made a comparison of the 12at7s a while ago compared to NOS. They blew them out of the water. Freakin' awesome I don't know what else or how else to say it, they just kill everything else.
