Ok, its only been 3 months since I posted I would be doing a review of these so I guess I am a little late
So, in a nutshell...these are really very very nice! Soundstage depth and width seem better, a little more dynamics and slam but still holding onto the nice smooth top end. No harshness here folks
In fact, the tubes were and are a burden sometimes as i have them in my C-J preamp in my computer room system and have it going when I am perusing job lists and making calls and trying to find a job after 2 years of being unemployed. The problem? I keep paying too much attention to the music as the be-all and not merely as background noise. While this is nice its not helping me find a job at all!!
All in all a great tube and in fact I now have AX7's and AT7's in my C-J. Testament enough I would think. As usual these results are in my system with my gear with my ears
